Axel help/questions

Since I'm a noob to the Jeep world, can anyone help me identify what axels I have? Again I have a '96 XJ Sport

Front will probably be a dana 30, the rear will probably be the Chrysler 8.25 (think that's what it is anyways) but could be a dana 44. I think some got the 44 rear but don't remember why. Most were the Chrysler axle though.

Email chrysler, send them your Vin and ask for a build sheet. Tells you everything you would need to know about your jeep

Yea that's what I hear but I have zero clue.

Thanks for the help on this. Got a build sheet - looks like I have a Dana M30/181MM front axle and a Dana 35C/194 MM Rear axle.

Just for future reference, you can also go to Jeep's website and get your build sheet. They have a section to put in the VIN and it gives it to you, that is how I got mine.
