Speedo flash

I have a 2016 JKU and ditched the 225/16 for a set of 285/70 17. Eventually I will go up to 35 or 37, but that is a long way down the road. Is it worth buying AEV Procal to flash the speedometer for the larger tires or just let the dealer do it? They said for 150$ it can be done there, and he said that he could up to 36". So 150 by them or 170ish for a Procal, any thoughts?

Get the procal so you can adjust it incrementally as you go up in size rather than pay the stealers hip each time, and when you sell the jeep you can sell the procal. No brainer

Thanks yall. Did a little more research and AEV says it wont ruin a warranty, and I could flash it back if needed. Got one on the way.

Absolutely agree. Remember to measure the tires after they are on the ground. You'll be ready for regearing if and when you do that!

I do plan on regearing, but not until the warranty is up at 60k. I should have done some more research beforehand about the procal, I thought it just did the speedometer.
