Sorry to say that the main forest trails are closed until April 1st. The training center might be open but I'm not sure.

It does, they close them every year from December to April. I'm assuming that it's to satisfy the hippies that would love to see it shut down completely.

I was thinking March for some reason I thought they opened march. But guess I was wrong. What about gluches or something like that down in sc

There is a few places that do that down my way. Down here they do it though the months of bad weather so the trails dont get really bad over the winter. Those same parks also close when the ground is wet.

I'm trying to get a group together for opening weekend at Uwharrie for April 1st through 3rd.
