OEM Stabilizer year differences?

Hey guys
I have a 2013 jku and my stabilizer was damaged while offroading.
My buddy gave me his from a 2007..
Now the problem is that i cannot turn all the way to the left. And this is making me look like i dont know how to drive lol
I already checked under the jeep and can't find whats the problem other than stabilizer from 2007.
I'll try to upload some pics later
Anybody knows what can i check or what could be the problem?

you checked to make sure the mounting bracket is not snagging on other parts? like the diff cover?

you should have someone in the jeep turning the wheel so you can see what's actually happening

Caught the Bug
If the stabilizer is shorter than your previous one (not sure of you still have it). that actually could limit your steering.
