12 Volts in cab

I'm looking for 12 volts in the cab that turns on and off with the key. It's a 2012 jk. I'm installing a 2 way radio. I would rather not hook it directly to the battery because the jeep won't be a daily driver and most of the time my radios will drain battery if left on. Any suggestions?

your lighter socket wiring should provide keyed power. on my 2010 it's the right side socket, I tapped into it for keyed power and grounded the radio to the body ground bolt on the passenger side.

I did keep the CB fuse in line just in case.

I used this to make the connection, it was easy and haven't had any issues with it:

I need to pick up the one from Quadratec to power my Spot Tracker, Go Pro, or whatever else I put up in the dash tray. Would work perfect routed up to the top of the center dash tray.
