Diff fluid

So I got my jeep stuck in a deep puddle last week, just enough to to cover the tires and get some water inside. Should I change the diff fluid.

If you didn't make a big splash, and you only covered the tires, you should be good, but just to be safe, I'd check.

I'm more of the better safe than sorry camp and would change it out. In the bigger scheme of things, it's cheaper to change the fluid than to find out later and replace parts.

You can open the fill plug and see what the fluid looks like. But for the $25 it costs I would probably just change it.
