JKU 6 speed leaking

My 08' JKUR 6 speed has been leaking for a couple of weeks now. The leaking appears to be coming from the top of the transmission near the shifter.i was told it might possibly be a clogged breather tube. Anyone else have any thought on a possible fix or what might be causing the leak?

Could be the valve covers or intake near the back of the motor leaking down the top of the tranny. If you have a small mirror may be a quick way to check.
