CB mount

Ok so I have all my CB equipment ordered and went with the rugged ridge CB mount above the rear view mirror.. Does anyone here run this that owns a 2007-2010 as it says there is drilling required for this mount.. And I'm wondering if it's necessary...? Anyone have any idea

I have an 08. You have to drill out the 2 pop ribits. Nothing to it.

I have an 09 2 door. I did not have to drill anything, as my latch was attached like they advertise for the 2011+ model (attached with screws, not rivets).

Pop your plastic off and you'll clearly see if you need to drill or not.

Popped it today and I'll have to drill .. Not worried about it just didn't realize it till after I ordered and then got curious if anyone found a way around it or even had to do it with the 2007-2010 models
