New build thread... Well kinda

Ok so when I got the jeep it had a shitty pro comp lift and a ton of shittybilt stuff. I quickly removed the pro comp shit with an EVO Enforcer kit. Now that I have the time and the money I have decided to redo EVERYTHING on my jeep. With that being said, this will be my new build thread.

That was the instillation of the skins and rock sliders. Now that y'all are up to date I can start this "newish" build lol.

Installing the Rock Hard 4x4 Sport Cage

Came out pretty good IMO. I also moved my CB to the top.



I dropped the axle so I could get all the Hawaii surface rust off it.

Installed the EVO Coilover Top Brackets

I ran out of space lol.

I also got the lower brackets installed nicely!

Had to take a brake. I was getting quite annoyed lol

Got the Speed Bumps in!



I'm waiting on some parts so I figured I would knock out the rear fascia.

Reinstalled the front axle.

Ok so now y'all are officially caught up. I'll try and keep the thread as up to date as I can!

So weather didn't agree with me nor did any of my tools so I didn't get much done. I started the install on the raised track bar bracket but I have to straighten my driver side sway bar bracket so I can fit the extensions on them. I planned on doing that, installing the drag link flip and my tie rod today but like I said, things didn't go my way.

What did you use to clean up the front axle rust?

Power washer with simple green followed by a green scruff pad. Came up fairly easy with the scruff pad!

Update: marked and drilled the holes for the EVO Tire carrier today. Tomorrow I will be dropping off the corners and the tire carrier for powder coating. Tomorrow I should also receive the brake lines and rear coil over brackets I was waiting on. If the weather holds this weekend I will install the rest of the lift and get her back on all 4!

I'll run 37s once these thin out. I'll go to 40 once I upgrade my axels

Ok finally got a break in the weather today. Got the front coilovers installed as well as my 1 Ton Tie Rod, Flipped Drag Link, RK Track Bar and my Adams DS. I didn't however, get the chance to install my stabilizer. Tomorrow I'm gonna bleed the brakes and bring the tip into the garage (that's what she said lol) to finish it up. Also going to install my EVO 1/4 Pounder w/ Stinger and my XD20 Winch.


Fixing the Sway Bar Bracket so I can put on the new raised bracket.

Finally fixed my brake line!

I got the Raised Track Bar Bracket installed

I got all 3 steering components installed. (Installed the Tie Rod backwards like a dumbass lol)

Relocated the Vacuum Pump and installed my Rubi Sway Bar with EVO Manual Override

Coilovers are on!

Got the res tightened down

It's on all fours again!!

Aright I finished the front today, did a rough alignment, torqued everything down. Also installed the EVO 1/4 with stinger and mounted and wired my Smittybilt X20 winch. Still got a few adjustments to make but happy so far! Now on to the rear!
Wouldn't stop raining so we moved it into the garage since we aren't working on the 47' today.

My dad removed the cross member while I torqued everything down.

And everything for the winch and bumper are secured. I am missing my top 6 stinger bolts tho. Gotta call in the morning for that.

Thanks bro. I'm gonna try and start on the rear this week. Been storming tho so I'm not sure I'll have a chance.

Been fighting the weather myself. My garage was built in the 50's so I can't get my rig inside!

BTW, look seriously at the ProRock front and rear axle assembly's when you are ready. With the setup you have, you really want to weigh this choice carefully. Eddie has some comments that are enlightening regarding the choices. If you plan on ever using 40's, as Eddie says, stuff starts to break! Anyway, guys like you are what it's all about!
