Above and below the springs.

Anyone have knowledge of the average weights of a JKU? More importantly.

The weight of frame, body, engine on the springs
Vs
The weight of the driveline components of axles?

So I'm looking to see the general weights of above and below the springs like sprung vs un sprung.

I have no experience with weighing a fully armored jk and or the axle units

Stock trim myself, but looking forward to seeing what the veterans have to say about this here. Wondering what effect it all has.

Come on over to the coil over thread and check out all the weights of these beasts.

Most of us can give you a total weight. Some guys have the front/ rear weights. The per corner weights are out there.

This is the total weight of the vehicle. Actual sprung vs unsprung starts getting real variable as there are so many different setups.

There may be data for components in the shipping weight section of a lot of parts. Some wheel companies have the weights posted on their site. Most tire companies state the weight of the tire for each size.
Axle weight data should be avail. if you dig deep enough
Good luck with your quest for answers.

SO what are you working up? :brows:
