Engine rattling

I've asked about this before but my buddy who does a ton of work on cars told me that my engine sounds like it's about to throw a rod. I'd like any second opinions if you guys can tell from these videos.

Sure doesn't sound normal! Almost sounds like pre-ignition (pinging). Has it been doing that for a while? Definitely might want to get it checked out...

Definitely not normal, I would get it checked by my mechanic (or dealer if you have warranty still) before something more expensive comes up.

Yep over a year but only when under load.

Yeah I think that's what I'm going to have to do unfortunately

Check the crossover pipe on the exhaust. Mine was barely touching the transfer case skid plate and it would rattle under load. Mine made a very similar sound.

^^ got him to come drive it and he said this is what he thinks it is. Said nothing's wrong with the engine thanks for this idea I don't think he had thought of this
