I need a little help diagnosing a sounds I'm hearing. I've searched other forums for an answer but haven't anything similar to my sound.
My Jeep is a 2010 JKU 3.8 automatic. 2-1/2" Teraflex Lift with 34" tires.
At idle I can hear this rhythmic ticking sound. I'm guessing it's from the engine. I cant really tell a location it maybe coming from. As far a volume id compare it to tapping a pencil on a table. Not real soft but not too loud. There are 7 ticks in a row in rhythm a pause of maybe 2 or 3 seconds and a repeat.
I would appreciate any help in diagnosing.
