My buddy's half-track. I took my family for a drive down Main Street, St Helena, CA. "Honest officer, it's street legal"



Side note: My dad, the grey haired guy sitting behind the 50 was a tank commander in WWII, he enjoyed the ride.

That thing truly is a beast. It's amazing how people just get out of your way when they see you coming. My buddy also has one of the river boats used by the Brown Water Navy in Vietnam. I have a video of it somewhere - I'll try to locate it and post it. It's a blast.

My dad says "hi to all, thanks for the kind thoughts, and proud to serve." He is supposed to be interviewed in a few weeks for an article in one of the WWII history magazines.

I think in this picture he is saying, "get out of my jeep".
