Rear diff.

I broke my pinion gear on rear axle.I need to load it on a trailer. Should I bolt the differential cover back on and fill with oil or am I good to drive 50 feet feet to load on trailer with empty diff?(with the help of 4x4 front end)

I HAD to buy a truck and trailer to tow it to shop.lol!!

It would have been cheaper to call a tow truck/flatbed. Lol!

Well, at least you made the right choice for the job. The Ram with a CTD is the best truck made
