heat blowing on passenger side bottom of dashboard

If its anything like my '13, The heater core pipes are completely exposed and get real hot even if the heater is off. I recommend insulating the two silver pipes in the passenger footwell.

Not directly, but yea, those pipes are apparently always flowing with hot engine coolant, so they get hot even if the heater isn't being used.

The link was just a link to some house hold pipe insulation, the stuff that kinda looks like a pool noodle.
