Steering Issues

Went off Roading today at the Ocala Hard Rock off road park and on the drive home I noticed that my steering does not center itself after a right turn only. Left turn is fine. Any ideas? Bent steering stabilizer? I checked the shaft but didn't notice a major bend or anything.

Any tips are appreciated! Cheers!

Jack up front end and manually steer wheels by hand to see if something is binding. Also measure lower arms bolt to bolt and Make sure one of them isn't bent causing a caster issue. You could pull the steering stabilizer quickly too and go for a road test and see what happens.

If I could guess, bent tie rod just enough to cause your stabilizer to catch on something. That or a dented stabilizer tube causing the piston inside to catch.

This was my issue. All good now! :thumb:

OP, take a look under your jeep.
