OK so I was cleaning the inside of my jk today and found a ground wire under my passenger seat not connected to anything.... Everything in my jeep works fine.... I do have heated seats but they work fine.... Any ideas to what it's for? Or should I just leave it disconnected, cuz if it ain't broke, don't fix it type a deal.....

Have you tried following the wire to see what it belongs to? Aside from your heated seats, you should have wiring for your seatbelt and accelerometer.

It goes into a large wire "loom"
Dispite how it looks here, it's NOT coming out of the small yellow harness, u can see it go up next to the seat.

Well, without giving what I have a look, I'm not entirely sure. If everything is working properly and you've got no lights on your dash, I probably would leave well enough alone too. If I have the time, I may see what I've got going down there.

I looked under my passenger seat.

Passenger seat from behind and I have the fold and tumble seat frame so it looks a little different

There is a ground wire that goes over and is bolted down to a little bolt welded to the tub. (see attached photo)

When I had my seats out to wire up the lights I installed behind the rocker guards I noticed several studs welded to the tub and I remember studs under the seats as I used them for the negative side if my light circuit.

I'm gonna use a meter and turn everything on and see if the wire has current.... If so I'm gonna ground it out there.
