After Deputy Goforth was murdered here in Houston last year there have been a ton of cars, homes, trees, etc with blue tape, ribbon, etc (still to this day). Scary times we live in sadly. Us firefighters give them shit and they give us shit but when it's go time...I back them and they back us 100%.

I pray every day for all my brothers and sisters in blue. Been a tough day. Prayers for Dallas PD and the families that have to pick up the pieces.

/\ this right here. We always have police at our station doing reports and such. Hell, we invite them in for dinner (and a little harassment as well) if they have time. But at the end of the day we all need to support each other however we can.

Although I did not specifically mention it in my original post, and maybe I should have, I extend this to our Firemen, EMT's and such.
They all often work the same scenes and share the exposure. In my mind and heart I do not draw much of a distinction between them.
