Limit Straps with EVO

Putting on the EVO bolt on CO. I have a long arm kit. Is limit straps a good idea or necessary? I have swapped axles.

Not needed. If you had the Evo lever you would need them but not for the bolt ons

Not necessary with the bolt on kit, only the DTD as it'll allow for enough droop that without straps, your drivelines will bind.

Awesome. Thanks guys. Hoping to have this thing airborne at some point and don't want damage.

At that point I would worry about your axles breaking, not limiting straps lol

This ^^^

With factory axles, getting airborne isn't exactly the smartest thing to do.

^^^ Both axles have been replaced and upgraded.

No stock factory axles for me

LOL!! In a 6,000 - 7,000 lb JK that's got most of its weight up front, never. But, people will do it anyways :crazyeyes:

It's just like mudding in a nissan sentra. Not the best of ideas!! (Yes, I was that guy at that time!)

LOL!! Mel already knows and that's why among other things, he's stripped about a thousand pounds off of EVO 1 and relocated the HEMI to help move the weight of it more toward the center.

Lol - Yeah not going to launch it like a mad man but perhaps some fun cresting a sand dune in the future or some higher speed driving.
