Dash lights

Has anyone tried to wire their dash lights to come on with the key? I know it may sound odd but I have pretty dark tinted widows and black interior it makes the dash is so dark I can't make out the gauges at a quick glance. And yes I am too lazy to turn the headlight switch lol

Just set it to "Parking Lights" and leave it there. The middle position turns on all the dash lights, leaving the headlights off, and shuts off with the key. The only possible down side to this would be the orange running lights turn on, big whoop. They turn off immediately with the key, not like the headlights and their weird courtesy feature.
