Hello,
I am attending to buy a Rubicon 2012 and on.
Locking for a Scan tool with those features:
• Does not require laptop or PC
• Read fault codes
• Clear fault codes
• Live data
Forced outputs/actuators
• Ideal for DIY enthusiasts as well as specialists

So far I found those products as relevant:

Does anyone have good/bed expiries with such a product?

Regards
Lior Kimron.

Caught the Bug
Id be very leary of buying a witech from ebay. Those are dealer tools. They connect to the chrysler network and check for updates constantly. It may work standalone but not sure. Last time I used one it connected and updated every day

That WiTech is a China clone imported when you buy it. I wouldn't spend .10 cents on it.
You'll probably never get to hookup to the Chrysler Tech Authority from more than a J2534
pass-through device. The dealers are on Dealer Connect and only the dealers get to play 100%
Those cheap knockoff scan tools can cause more damage than they could
help you fix. Control modules are expensive and using something like this can turn them into
door stops when shit goes wrong.

I have and use the AE and it's a good tool that can be tailored to fit your needs with room to grow
for a decent price. IMO, don't buy any knockoff junk from China. It's a total waste of money and
could cost you even more to fix the potential damage inflicted by actually trying to use it :naw:
