Out North to the Golan Hights

After the storm that lasted all week, we decided to head out north to experience snow off-roading. You see, we don't get much snow in our area, maybe once or twice a year, so when it falls we immediately take out, even if it means missing work.

Here are some of the shots we took during our trip.

It wasn't all easy

"all too easy" doesn't make it memorable.. the problems will, and that is what makes it even more fun.

So it started out with a wheel rim that broke when we tried to clime an unmarked trail, a bad idea when you clime a volcano terrain. Sharped rocks are scatted everywhere. At first we hoped it was just a deflated tire that slipped going sideways but after few minutes of compressing air in to it we found the rim broken from the inner side. The JK had to descend the hill with a deflated tire as we could not replace it on the slope.

After that it all was just snow too deep, and numerous tows.

As for my JK.... It didn't get stuck that trip ... and was the ultimate tow truck that day.
Here it is posing for a few shots
