what is the antenna adapter called when replacing the antenna with a new one?

So I bought a repalcement antenna, and it didnt come with an adapter or somethig. cause its only female.

the stock antenna is male. knxf9rxu5do4a72.png

About the only place you can get CB stuff these days is at truck stops. Go to one, explain what you want and there is a good chance they have it.

It's not a CB antenna. It's the radio antenna and this is a shorty that he is installing

Thought it was a "rubber ducky" CB antenna like I used to use with my handheld CB when I was hang-gliding. If, however, I'd thought about it, I'd have recalled that the handheld had the male part on the CB, not the antenna. Auto parts store may have adapter or another shorty.
