I'm thinking about getting a Atlas to add to the changes I'm making...a LS and 6l80e.

Its a JKU 40" PR60-80 5.38's and heavy!

Would like input from Atlas owners on gearing the Atlas and gear noise that I've read about.

How much gear noise on the trail and when in 2wd on the street.

Are you using the cable shifters or the std shifters....issues with either and pro's and cons?

Issues Indexing of the case with exhaust etc?

Anything else that someone should know.

Cost isn't a factor as I can sell the Rubicon 4-1TC and the JK 241 TC I have.

I would like to buy the 4.1 Rubi transfer case.

If it were me, I'd call up ORE and ask them too because I doubt many people here put as many offroad miles on theirs.

I have an Atlas 2sp in my 2012 JK 3.6/auto/supercharged.

No issues indexing. No additional road noise noticeable to me. Cable shifters is what mine came with when I ordered the JK kit. No issues there that I'm aware of. 4lo is a little bit of a pain to get into but I have been told it will wear in.

Got mine being built now and hopefully installed in the next week or two.

We will see the difference soon
Current model is the stock sport one. 2010 supercharged.

Re-read the post. He wasn't exactly listing it dude. Like me saying I'm thinking about looking for a bigger house..... doesn't mean I'm selling the one I got right now.

Once its listed and I've priced it its fair game but I'm not going to promise it to anyone.

Please keep the info on the Atlas questions coming.

Clocking the Atlas up over the std location has anyone done this?

What gearing are those with a ls-6l80e and a Atlas are using?

Thinking about the 4.3 as 1st gear with the 6l80e would give me a very low crawl of 93-1 for steep tech climbs or drop offs.
And the 2nd gear would be a more normal 54-1 for normal rock crawling.
