Temp always in middle

I been on the road for about 6hrs, really revving it at times. speeds of 100kph-140kph.

but I notice the temperature is not really moving. wouldn't it be really hot already?

and its really hot here in the Philippines.

is this normal?

If you take out the thermostat, the needle will move, trust me.

That just means your cooling system is working as it should. The needle being slightly under the half way mark is normal.

The stock cooling system is designed to keep the jeep from overheating even at full engine power.

Do you guys turn off the engine right away when you stop to park? or you let it run for a minute or two?

Just turn it off. Unless you have a turbo :idontknow:

It's not a diesel or equip with a turbo so I shut mine off right away after parking...

I do turn it off right away. unlike my isuzu dmax with a turbo diesel. I installed a turbo timer for 1min, long distance 2mins.

its my first time with a V6 engine. so noob with knowledge with jeep and the engine.

Its about the same temp and humidity here. You will be fine with just shutting it off. Always park under a tree if you can find it so you don't bake when you get back in with the top up.
