Much to gain on adding headers to my 2010 JK that has a Ripp SC'er?
I live in CA so any suggestions for a smog legal one?

I've heard long tube headers with sc work but you'll be adding a lot of heat to the engine bay

Hmm may out way the benefits.
I am adding vented fender liners and a vented hood soon as well which may off set it.

Interested in insights.

I'm running jba headers and wrapped them with fiber glass header wrap With JBA spark plug wires and no fender liners

I love my setup. You'll get that much more power with long tubes

That's along with running the Ripp? What brand any links? And is is CA smog legal?

When I was running my 3.8 I had the ripp long tube headers and they really made a big difference. I also didn't notice any extra heat from them or have any plug wires get burnt through

Are they Ca smog legal?
Did you notice any horsepower or performance increase?

I don't have a sc, but still power increase. JBA. I burnt through a couple plugs wires and then bought the JBA wires and love it
