The rust monster...

So a little back story... I bought my 2012 JKU as a salvage title back in 2014. I knew there was a bot of surface rust on the floor but severely underestimated the extent. I also was unaware at the time that the stock roll cage had been poorly repaired which caused me to remove it all together and purchase the Genright full cage. Well fast forward a couple years and the rust has taken my entire passenger floor and pretty much everything else to the right of the floor pan. Looks like I will add a new tub to the list of things I need now [emoji30]

I believe it had fire damage. I actually deployed for a year and had it under a cover the whole time. I scraped everything off and sprayed it with some rustoleum stuff but that didn't seem to stop the spread. It is well beyond repair at this point, so the search for a replacement tub begins. I would have bought a tub and frame and started from scratch if I had know the extent of all the damage...
