Mopar winch plate install on Hard Rock

All,

In the instructions it says it's only necessary to cut back the factory vacuum pump bracket to fit the winch plate. I've done that but the actual plate is too long to fit between the frames? I have a 2015 Hard Rock, is this something recent? Has anyone had to completely remove vacuum pump bracket? Thanks!

I don't have the Mopar winch bracket (have the Maximus-3 bracket with a Warn 9.5 CTi). Relocated the vacuum pump to under the hood with a Metalcloak vacuum pump relocation bracket (also has adapters for electrics and vacuum line). It is an easy and cheap mod (and keeps the vacuum pump out of harms way.

Turns out I need to just give the plate a little more force than I imagined. All good.
