Napalm's Amazon River Adventure!

As some of you know, I spend the last 10 days on the Amazon River doing mission work. While I didn't have Steel along with me, it was still an incredible trip and one I'd like to share with you guys!
Arriving in Manaus, Amazonas; We arrived late that evening after about 9 hours worth of flying. The only thing we were able to see as we were leaving was this large and incredible bridge that runs across the Rio Negro river.

The next day was spent completely on the river, and this is what we saw for most of the day, including a very rough storm.

The sleeping situation on the boat. Very comfortable actually.

We spent the next 5 days doing missions work in various small villages on the Amazon.

As you can see, the water level was incredibly low. This is the doc that they usually are able to get the boat to.

On the last day, we woke up to the coolest thing. This is where the Rio Negro and Amazon rivers meet. Their temperature differences cause them to have different colors and not mix.

I love the Amazon region of South America. My wife is originally from Iquitos Peru. I'll be heading back down this Saturday for 2 weeks to visit the family
