07 Wrangler that throws P0205 code after warm up

Just wanted to throw this question out there to the forum. Have an 07 Wrangler with roughly 171K miles. Lately, it will start fine when cold. When I go to start after it has warmed up, check engine light comes on and throws a P0205 code for an open circuit at the #5 injector. Should I look at the injectors or the plugs and wires. Wires are original, but plugs were replaced at about 100K miles. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks

Welcome to WAL. A code like that is more than likely an injector issue. I would visibly check all wiring and connectors there first and look for signs of rodent damage. You could swap injectors with another cylinder to see if code follows, but if you've already torn it down that far, you might as well replace it. Not for sure that's what's wrong with it, but that's where I would start. And check main harness wires too and near pcm.
