Winch issue

So I finally got around to getting a winch... but there's a problem. The pictures shows what seems to be a piece of my frme sticking out from the bumber which is a rugged ridge XHD stubby, the piece of frame is not allowing the winch to sit flat on top of the mounting holes... my only options I can think of is shave the frame back

And the winch is a warn zeon 10

Any ideas?

That's what I would do if it were mine. Is it just barely rubbing? Can you point to the part you're talking about with a photo edit? How much do you need to cut off?

I would just chop it off, but depending on how much space you need the bolt underneath it may be the next thing in the way. How much space do you need to make?
