Jeep Pulls left

Increasingly more, my JK is pulling to the left when I release the steering wheel. The front tires are identical in tread ware. My axle is centered dead on from and rear. I think the problem dates back to my coil spacer install. I'm at 5.5" on lift with short arms. I made my front control arms 1/2 inch longer to help with ride quality. I also put the Bilstien SS to help with handling but seems at this point to have made it a bit worse. Measured control arm lengths, uppers are exact, lowers are exact....the same. It's not the crown in the road. Tire pressures all the same.

Any suggestions?

I've heard before that the bilstein steering stabilizer can have to much pressure, pushing the piston out, and causing a pull to the left.

Take the stabalizer out and go for a run. See what happens. Better, worse, or same? Probably the easiest thing to do yourself...

Inspect your brakes and wheel bearings. Is that wheel hub hotter than the rest? after a while of driving and you feeling the pull?

do you have access to running a different set of tires? assuming your camber is okay, brakes check out and all your control arms are set correctly and not bent, could be something as dumb as what some refer to as radial pull.

I've read the same thing.

Take the stabalizer out and go for a run. See what happens. Better, worse, or same? Probably the easiest thing to do yourself...

Inspect your brakes and wheel bearings. Is that wheel hub hotter than the rest? after a while of driving and you feeling the pull?

I just pulled the stabilizer off, but I had the pull before I put it on. It seemed to make it a little worse.
As far as bearings and brakes, I lifted both tires off the ground and gave them a spin, both spun freely, I also had the whole bearing assembly off this past weekend and the brakes checked out ok. Bearings were tight.

do you have access to running a different set of tires? assuming your camber is okay, brakes check out and all your control arms are set correctly and not bent, could be something as dumb as what some refer to as radial pull.

I'll look into these more, I did rotate front tires and the pull remained. How would I check camber myself?
The tires are a big possibility. Could castor play into this? or toe?

rotating tires won't make a radial pull go away. you literally need to borrow someone elses tires and give it a spin. when checking camber, you just want to find how vertical your wheels are. in a perfect world, they would be exactly 90° to the ground but, even from the factory, they would be a bit off. i would pull your wheels and take an angle finder to a flat vertical surface like maybe across the rotor or, place a socket over the spindle nut and take a reading off the back of it. if your camber is off more on one side than the other, yeah, that could be your issue. caster would not be an issue with pull unless one side was significantly more than the other and that shouldn't be possible on a solid axle.

Okay, thanks Eddie for the feedback. I'll try and work on the things you've mentioned. I did remove the SS and the pull was cut in half, but there is still something going on. Thanks everyone for the help.:thumb:
