I thought the Double D requires you to cut off all control arm bracketry etc and re-weld their brackets.

Yeah, you have to cut and grind but everything else will bolt in with some new holes drilled. Welding is just easier and more reliable. I would definitely get these welded up after I got everything bolted up and dialed in though.

I don't have any experience with icon, but the EVO setup is solid. Haven't installed it yet, but I would imagine your going to need more than a couple days..

Yeah it looks like a lot of work. But I'm down to kick some ass on it. My buddy owns Avenger Suspension and would help. He's an amazing welder/fabricator. [emoji1360][emoji1360]

I cant really comment on the long arm side, but the coilovers are very easy to mount. I installed my set in 2 days by my self in my driveway on jack stands. I was working maybe 8-10 days with lots of breaks.
