Modest mods

N00b here to modifications. My 08 has a 2.5 RC lift on it but that's all. I'd like to make some modest mods to it to allow some light trail riding, but still have a manageable daily driver to get me back and forth to work. I plan on running 33's on the stock 17's I'm going to plasti dip. I don't really know where to start after that. I've looked at an intake and exhaust but I feel like there's probably more important things that need done first. I don't know the first thing about suspension or gearing, I've just started reading about it. Any direction would help.

If you don't already have them, a set of good rocker guards and tow points front and rear are what I would get next.
