Dtd question

So I'm going trough and greasing all my control arms and such and 4 of the zerk fittings are impossible to reach with a standard grease gun.

Question is what's every one doing to grease these joints? 90 degree fitting on the gun? I thought about replacing them with 90 degree zerks, has anyone done this?

Thanks for your input

I took a lot of the standard zerk fittings out and replaced them with the high pressure fittings. You need the needle tip adapter for your grease gun to grease these. I have a straight and 90deg needle fitting for my electric grease gun and it helps get into the tight areas where zerks can be a pita. 90 deg zerk fittings would work in a few places, but it drives me nuts when my grease gun just shoots grease out to the side because it won't seat on a zerk. To me the high pressure grease fittings are easier to grease.

Thanks for the insight... I was gonna buy an electric gun but went the cheap route first and am not quite satisfied. Do you happen to know offhand what size the fittings are? If not I can always just take one off and match em up at the store when I go next

I went with the 90 degree coupler instead: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000G76OMA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also would highly recommend the Lock-N-Lube fitting, which really helps since once it is locked on, you are good: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H7LPKKU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not sure on the size. I have a 100 or so pack of fittings that I went through and found the right sizes.

Thanks, may try this route first... see if it works since I already have a gun. Worst case I can always upgrade if I have too.

It's just those 4 fittings that are hidden away and blocked by brackets that I'm having issues with
