Hi all, having clearance issues with the rear bump stops. With the jeep empty there is about half ince
space between the top/bottom stops. Fully loaded with rooftop tent and camping gear it starts to squash the top (stock) rubber.
Im running Evo 4" King Coils all round with 12" travel and have upgraded the springs to 300/300lb on the rear and 250/300lb on the front. My JK weighs 2.82t empty. Im in Australia and its a RHD.
I want to try and eliminate the top rubber stop and more clearance. I want to keep the JK as low as possible as its more of a daily driver plus it wont fit in my garage if the coils are wound up,as it sits now its about 2.1m high.
Can I cut the top off the bump stop and just leave the head inserted?
Any help would be great.
