Cause for the warranty there's a slot for serial number and I've literally looked through the whole winch and couldn't even find a number of anything .-.

mile marker is a US company based in Florida, serves the US Military. However I have no idea if their products are US made (probably not). We get them extensively in Europe and cheaper than Warn. Their reliability is good and they cover their products well through their distributors.
