3.8L Dipstick reading

I have been checking the oil level and have a question hopefully someone can answer.

Every time I pull out the dipstick there is a little streak of oil along the side past the safe markings. It goes up an inch at least maybe more. However a line of oil is right in the middle of the safe mark with oil the rest of the way down.

Is the little streak something I should be looking into? Too full?

You're probably getting oil on the dipstick when removing/putting it back into the motor.

Post a pic, but it's likely normal. If you leave the Jeep sit for about 30 minutes, I bet that streak will be gone as the oil drains down fully. If it's like the pic below, the arrow area is closer to your full level, and not the streaks to the right

I'll post a pic tomorrow. There isn't even that much on the side. I'm talking a tiny streak along the edge of the dipstick.

I will give an update tomorrow. Thanks for insight
