do you wheel where there are a lot of low hanging limbs? it'll get the longer ones off somewhat (if long enough they still pinstripe) but there are always the shorter or thick brush that will still pinstripe your Jeep

I think it's an east coast thing. The first time I saw them I had to stop and ask what they were for. I thought they were some kind of radio antennas. I don't see a need unless you're trail blazing through crazy brush. They're not going to stop pin stripes from what I can imagine.

Here's the first jeep I saw with them on the trails:

Edit- they'd actually be great for drying clothes while camping.
