I didn't use the hinge hood mount as that would block my windshield washer spray so I used the 4xrak

River Raider hinge mounts. Pretty solid. Have had it on the hood for over a year. Haven't had any issues....yet! It does get in the way a little bit when using the windshield washer but it's not too bad.
