Rain Sensative Wipers

Could someone tell me how these wipers work?:hmm:

I'm not familiar with the Renegade particularly, but other cars that I've worked on that have this feature have a sensor built into the windshield. When the sensor senses rain, it closes the circuit to the wiper motor, thus activating the wipers.

Make sure rain sensor is marked as on

Now with the wiper controls you'll see a 1 and 2. 1 is for less sensitive response

2 is for more sensitive response

That dude from Mississippi
I didn't even know my wife's Renegade had them. I thought something was wrong with the wipers, at first. Danged thing has a steering wheel heater, too. Who needs that?
