Vacuum Pump in JK07(Brake Booster)

I and everyone else wants to know, WHY ?

If you have the 3.8 in your JK, you don't need a vaccum pump, the motor creates enough vacuum on it's own to operate the power brake booster.

The new 3.6 does not, that's why it has one.

There's no reason to yell.

Like I said, the 3.8 creates enough vacuum to operate the brake booster under almost all conditions.

More vacuum will not improve the pedal feel or braking if everything is working properly.

If your not getting enough vacuum to the booster, then yes an auxiliary vacuum pump would help, but you either have a vacuum leak or a malfunctioning part and that needs to be addressed.

If you are experiencing low vacuum from your 3.8 you should find out why.

Most boosters only require 18 inches of vacuum to work and the 3.8 creates more than that. (I'm repeating myself)

Are you experiencing a very hard to push brake pedal, that's one indicator of low vacuum and the booster not working ?
