Trip to Death Valley

Being my first time to the valley I loved all that was to be seen so we set up our base camp in Panamint Springs Resort

Our first full day we headed up to the defense mine we had to park the stock TJ once we got closer and take my rig up

I didn't do the v notch because I was navigating everything without a spotter

Day two was spent at mosaic canyon, rhyloite then over to chloride city

Day three we when over to ballarat gohler wash barker ranch mengle pass to butte Valley Badwater basin and Artist palette

Some old jeeps out at barker ranch

I'll have to get the photos from my wife's phone of the mengle pass

I'll have to post the last three days later

Day four Titus canyon ubebhbe Crater , tea kettle junction ,racetrack , lipincot Grade into saline valley to jackass Canyon
We hiked in to Titus and then found out it had re opened the night before

From on top of the grand stands

Rocks being pushed across the racetrack

Coming down the grade

Day five we hiked in to golden canyon then drove up echo canyon to the inyo mine and hit the falls going up echo pass

Eye of the needle

Inyo mine

Dropping back down the falls in echo pass

Day six was a easy day we ran around different trails checking out mines the ran the Darwin trail back to the springs had lunch at an old mine the went up to the charcoal kilns on our way back down went out to a arch

You can't got to the desert and not make a snow man

It was great would love to have more along we did all the more technical stuff alone as my father in laws TJ is stock but we're planning another one maybe a camp as we go trip
