Should I buy a 3.73 carrier?

I am planning a regear from the 3.21 soon and I have to change the front carrier. Well I found someone selling his 3.73 gears and carriers. He is willing to sell me just the front carrier with low miles. All paper work included. Anyways would it be worth it to get the carrier cheap from him and just buy a ring and pinion master gear kit?

I'd say it depends on how much he is selling it for. You can pick up brand new carriers for the D30, 3.73 and up for around 75 bucks. Probably cheaper if you shop around. At least that way, you know it's brand new.
