Drag Link replacement

Hey what's up everyone! So I'm trying to replace my stock drag link with a synergy drag link. I'm having a very difficult time trying to take the end connected to the pitman arm off. Any suggestions on how I can get it off?

Loosen the nut all the way, but leave it on the end of the thread studs. While prying down on the link end, give the side of the pitman arm a good hit. It you're able to get the hammer in there, hit down on the nut that is still on the end of the stud. You'll definitely want to put your purse down while you hit it. Last option, a pickle fork will definitely separate it.

This is what I used after everything else failed. Worked like a charm.

I tried the harbor freight version... It was very hard to get under the boot and bent when put some pressure to it. I said F it and went to a pickle fork...
So don't do harbor freight and if you don't care about the boot just pickle fork it
