Coilover spring removal help

Like you I could not find much on how to do it the right way.
SO the way I do it is,:
Jack up and fully extend, ie droop out.
Dump nitrogen pressure.
Use a coil spring compressor set to squeeze the coils enough to be able to get the bottom bolt out.
Then remove the big chunk of aluminum off of the bottom of tbe coil over. Now you can remove coils.
Note this is for Kings. Dont know about any others.

Is there a thread or video showing how to remove the springs from a coilover? Working on a friends jeep and kind of never delt with coilovers.

Take all the preload off of them. This will take all pressure off the springs. unscrew the bottom and the springs will come right out with no tension.
