Replacement keyfob

Hi All - Planning to pick up a Uncut Replacement Key Fob from Amazon and get it across to the dealer to have it programmed, do you think there is a better option? if anyone has been to a dealer for this, any idea what do they charge?

I just have one key of my Jeep, so going with a duplicate in case of lost keys.

buy the S041 service contract . costs $50 and will cover up to $800.00 and you get genuine keys programmed . (at least here in Canada). best part is you can just tell them you lost your key.

Don't buy some cheap BS Amazon key... I work for a Ford dealership, and whenever we get a customer who brings in their own keys, 9 time out of 10 they are DOA or are completely wrong for the application. The only thing worse than paying to have 1 key cut and programmed, is having to have 2 cut and programmed because the 1st one didn't work.
