Dealer told me they couldn't order a 2017

I went to a dealer a night or two ago and had a 2017 2-door JK ordered. Or, so I though. Today, I was told that they could no longer order 2017s and that I could order a 2018 on August 1st

Were about to add another jeep to the family so ive been shopping around and one dealer said he just ordered several... he also told me they wouldnt see a jl on the lot til January... probably just salesman bullshit but either way sound like hes trying to up sale u

Talk to Craig Benner at Koons Tyson's Jeep. Best deal you will find. If you can still order 2017s, he will know.

6% under invoice 4% on special editions like my Recon.

Update: It was true

Two other dealers just confirmed special orders for 17's can't be done and that order dates for '18s are unknown.
By the way, the first dealer got a deposit from me and said they would honor my OTD price on a similarly ordered '18....this seems like bull hockey to me...but I'll wait it out an see
