I have full width axels now, 69.5" wide, I don't have any pictures of where I cut my pinch seems but I pretty much followed eddies thread in how he cut Rubicat to fit the coopers

You can make 41.5 pit bulls fit. Takes work as mentioned by others. If you don't flex off-road much it's easier but I have full clearance in this pic. I have it set lower ~4.5-5" and sacrifice a little up travel for lower center of gravity. I am running super duty axles @ 72" WMS & 4"bs on the racelines.
