Tapping in engine

Ok so I traded the renegade In for a 2016 wrangler it has 9200 miles on it I drove it about 50 miles or so parked it for a day then drove it to work I got almost to work and the engine started tapping very loud I had the dealership come and get it they said something broke in the engine on the left side.

Probably tappets. I had one come apart in the right head at 20,000kms on my 2015. Dealer replaced the tappets and cams in both heads under warranty and it's been quiet ever since

Dang!! That stinks. Didn't know the Pentastar had issues like that. Good luck.

Did it have reasonably clean oil? Strange for that to break so few miles.
